Peer Community Engagement
No one disputes that physicians and their clinic staff understand the needs and challenges faced by busy community practices better than anyone else. So who better to help Saskatchewan physicians find ways to get more from their EMR, improve clinic workflows and decision supports, and much more!
The SMA EMR Program has developed a network of EMR proficient physicians and medical office staff (i.e., Peers) who will share their EMR expertise and knowledge with their peers.
Working with the Peer Support Program Lead and Practice Advisors, this community of expert EMR users support practices with developing individualized quality improvement plans and making progress on areas important to them.
The SMA EMR Program peers provide invaluable practice perspectives and guidance on innovations and enhancements to current EMR Program initiatives.
If you are passionate about sharing your knowledge and experience and are interested in becoming a peer or feel that you may benefit from the expertise peers have to offer, please contact us.
